Overview

Since 1962, the Centre for Continuing Education works with people and communities on the skills and connections they need to become more confident, active, skilled and engaged in society.

Meeting local needs
The Centre is recognised for its ability to provide programs and services that meet the needs of individuals, business, and communities. We offer customised support and training for individuals, small business, industry and communities.

Supporting the whole of community
The Centre supports disengaged and vulnerable groups in our communities. Programs include and create opportunities for people with a disability, long-term unemployed, and others; support local businesses and industry with staff training and development; and help local community organisations grow their services and skills.

Recognised, quality training
The Centre for Continuing Education delivers nationally recognised education and training to adults in regional Victoria from our campuses in Wangaratta, Seymour and Benalla. We deliver skills and licensing for industry, accredited and pre-accredited training, adult literacy and numeracy, and more.

Collaborative partnerships and networks
We have strong links with Federal, State and Local Government; business and industry; schools, TAFE; and community groups, organisations and support services.

Creating opportunities
We find and create opportunities for personal development, sport, volunteering, training, employment and community capacity building. We build alliances and partnerships for the benefit of our learners and the community.

Making life better
The Centre is proud to have helped many people make transformational changes in their lives or reach their goals. We are proud of the opportunities we have helped create for them and their communities.
