Overview

At Berry Street, we believe in people.

We believe that children, young people and families should be safe, thriving and hopeful. As one of Australia’s largest independent family service organisations, this belief is the heartbeat of our organisation.

It defines our purpose, reflects our 140-year history and guides our future. It is a belief that unites our staff, inspires our partners and donors, and enables us to deliver the best possible outcomes for the people we work alongside.

Berry Street exists to help those experiencing poverty, violence and abuse, and to help families stay together in safe and healthy homes so they can create the future they imagine for themselves.
