Youth Outreach Recovery Program (YORS) is a mental health community support service. YORS provides supports for young people to help them build their capacity to manage their mental health and achieve goals and live independently. YORS services provides outreach support for short to medium periods of time.
Priority will be given to young people with ongoing mental illness, disabilities, or unmet wellbeing needs. It will complement case management supports to the young person who may be receiving other services by providing a psychosocial therapeutic response to tailor the needs of a young person.
This is a 12 month non crisis support program; we can work alongside services to assist with applying for housing and create budgets and linking in with clinical support services as required please note we are unable to provide housing.
Jacaranda Youth Residential Rehabilitation falls under YORS. For more information about this program, contact our support coordinators.
Young people can self-refer to a YOR program or a referral can be made on behalf of a young person with their consent by, but not limited to family members, carers, schools, community groups, youth services, GP’s, mental health clinicians, Headspace, PARCS and anyone providing support to a young person. Referrals into Jacaranda will involved some assistance from our team for the referral process.
