Psychosocial Recovery Service

The Psychosocial Recovery Service (PRS) assists individuals with mental health issues to achieve their recovery goals. This includes support to manage daily life, participate in the community, secure work or housing and connect with others.

PRS is delivered by Wellways in Goulburn Valley and is free of charge.

The service promotes the importance of connection, wellbeing and inclusion while providing practical support. PRS is an opportunity to take more control over your life and better manage any challenges you encounter.

We’ll provide one-on-one support to talk about what recovery means for you and can work with you to:

– build skills to manage your mental health
– develop social skills and friendships
– build relationships with family
– build capacity in managing day-to-day activities
– manage money
– find and look after a home
– increase educational, vocational and training skills
– address drug and alcohol use issues
