New Parents Group

Program Delivered by Mitchell Shire Council

in partnership with Our Place

Overview

Mitchell Shire Maternal and Child Health offer first-time parents an opportunity to come together through our 6-week program where they can:
– share information
– enhance parenting skills and knowledge
– develop social networks
Your Maternal and Child Health Nurse will book you into your local group following the birth of your first child. Groups normally start when baby is around 3 months old.
