Healthy Beginnings Nurse

I’m Tara Darcy, and I’m excited to introduce myself as the Healthy Beginnings Nurse. My role is focused on working alongside children, families, kindergartens, schools and community service providers to support children’s health, wellbeing and development.

I can work with families and services around:

• Child health and wellbeing concerns
•  Health and development concerns impacting a child’s participation in kindergarten/school
• Connecting with families with appropriate health and community services
• Supporting families to navigate available services
• Liaising with education providers & other professionals
• Identifying opportunities for early support & intervention
• Providing health information, guidance and coordination follow-up.
