Website Development

Website design and development was carried out by Caolan O'Connor at Regional Business Toolkit, a Victorian agency dedicated to helping businesses and organisations in regional areas scale their impact. Caolan is located in Alexandra, on the banks of the Goulburn River, a little upstream from Seymour.

Website Development Stack

The Seymour Community Program Directory is intended to be easy to use, both for visitors and administrators, and to be a legacy project that lives beyond the scope of the initial stakeholders. As such, a range of open source and premium software was used to ensure the directory is portable (if needed). This includes:

• Beaver Builder / Beaver Themer / Powerpack - to allow the Seymour Community Program Directory team to easily edit the content on the website.
• Gravity Forms - to handle all online forms and submissions.
• Pods - to handle the custom post types
• A custom theme and framework to provide the architecture for the directory.
• WordPress - the open source platform that powers the web.
• Shortpixel - to optimise (reduce) images so they load fast.
