About Us

Discover. Connect. Grow.

We’re on a mission to empower the Seymour community through our localised program directory.

The directory offers detailed information on community programs, support services, and activities in Seymour and the surrounding areas. You can search for specific listings or browse categories to discover relevant organisations and services in your neighborhood.

Who created the Seymour Community Program Directory?

The directory was developed by a dedicated committee of local organisations, including healthcare, childcare, housing, disability, education, and employment service providers. Initially an exercise to learn about each other's programs, it highlighted the need for easily accessible, up-to-date information about the support available to people in Seymour and the surrounding areas. With funding from the Brotherhood of St. Laurence, a local developer was selected to build the resource.

Why a Program Directory?

Our concern was that without a central place to find relevant information, people may not seek support, referrals between providers are less effective, and valuable programs may struggle to continue in Seymour. The committee, with input from Seymour community members and program providers, determined that a Community Program Directory that is detailed, kept up-to-date, and localised in Seymour will help to address these challenges.
